About Jama

I am a 35-year-old mother of four who started out this fitness journey at 200lbs the day my oldest was born, to a fit, healthy, marathoning gym girl with muscles and lots of mascara.

I am a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer with the Chattanooga Metropolitan YMCA and am currently teaching a cycling class three days a week called “Pedaling for Parkinson’s” that focuses on using cycling to alleviate Parkinson’s symptoms and improve mobility in those with the disease.
I love Spark, pizza, running, cycling, the color pink, Tennessee Volunteers football, and lifting heavy things (in no particular order).
I am a Christian, homeschooling, Southern girl who still drinks sweet tea (with Stevia, of course) and will eat the occasional biscuits and gravy.
